I actually am one of the few boudoir photographers who actually reguraly stands in front of the lens herself. I’ve stood in front of the lens off another photographer: at home, in the studio and even together with my partner. I’ve also stood in front of my own lens at home, in nature, even in Iceland where crowds of tourists enjoyed my experience as much as I did.
These are the experiences that made me fall in love with doing boudoir shoots.
Enough about me, the boudoir experience is all about you. As the word experience suggests: it's really about the experience.

That moment when you undress yourself in ancient nature and feel the ground under your bare feet. The vulnerability you experience in the beginning quickly turns into enormous strength.
A force that you may not have felt so strongly before. You feel more connected than ever. You feel an unconditionality come over yourself and you know: “I will never forget this!”
And that's right, while you are just being present in the moment, I capture the most beautiful moments, so that you always have the most beautiful images after the experience. Images that take you back to that one moment and images that tell a story. Your story!

To achieve that, you really don't have to be an accomplished model, you just have to be yourself. I'll guide you through the entire process, from coaching you to more self-confidence to demonstrating the boudoir poses myself.
I am NOT your boudoir photographer, if you are looking for dirty and heavily edited images, shot in an indoor studio.
I AM your boudoir photographer, if you are looking for stylish and sensual images photographed in nature.
Why outdoor boudoir?
There is no greater inspiration for me than nature. She is always changing and yet she is always perfect.
The colors and scents, the light and especially the experience made me specialize in outdoor boudoir. There is not an experience more beautiful than being one with nature. Because who are you when you go back to nature, when you have nothing left other than your own naked body?
Where to shoot boudoir?
Well where not?! You can do an outdoor boudoir shoot almost anywhere. Okay, except in places where you are not allowed to go at all ;) The question is not where you can do a boudoir shoot, the question is where you want to do your boudoir shoot. Where do you feel most at home? Where would you love to go again? And where will your next journey take you? Because honestly, how cool would it be to have boudoir photos taken in Iceland, Madeira or Scotland? I'd love to go on a trip!

The entire process
THIS IS HOW A BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER WORKS
Step 1.
After reading this page, the next step is to download my guide. Get inspired and informed about what it is like to do a boudoir shoot.
Step 2.
Schedule a free, no-obligation introductory meeting. This is a short 30-minute video call in which we get to know each other better.
Step 3.
Yes we are a match! After the conversation, I send you the contract and invoice for the session fee. After that I am your boudoir photographer!
Step 4.
We plan a 'Setting the Mood' session. This is a 90-minute session in which we will visualize the concept for your shoot and I will coach you.
Step 5.
Prior to your boudoir shoot, you will also receive a preparation guide and you will receive a number of exercises that will help you gain more self-confidence.
Step 6.
Your boudoir shoot is just around the corner. We will go on an adventure together for 90-180 minutes, don't worry, I will guide you through this entire experience.
Step 7.
While you are still enjoying the high you have experienced, I will start professionally editing the images.
Step 8.
Within 4 weeks after your session it is time for the Big Reveal! You will receive the digital photos and, if you wish, you can also make choices for an album or prints.
Step 9.
If you choose an album, I will design it. Is the design ready? Then I will send it to you so that you can check whether it is exactly as you want.
Step 10.
After approval, I will order it from my supplier. From then on, it may take up to a month for production to be completed.
Step 11.
Your album and prints are here! When you receive the album you also have the opportunity to let me know if and how I can use the photos.
Step 12.

How much does a boudoir shoot cost?
The costs of a boudoir photographer can vary enormously. This depends on the experience of the photographer and the packages he or she offers. In my guide I tell you all about my rates.
Who can book a boudoir shoot?
A boudoir shoot can be booked with me for anyone aged 21 or older. Women and men are welcome. My portfolio now only contains women, but couples are also very welcome. We always keep it classy ;)
Is it also for couples? Or men?
Yes, absolutely! My portfolio now only represents women, but I would love to create artistic boudoir (nude) images with a couple. So if you and your partner are both open to this, I would be happy to discuss it with you. I also think it would be very special to do a dudoir shoot (a boudoir shoot for men). As a female photographer however I am a bit more reserved about this, so I certainly do not accept all requests. Please note: the focus is always on creating timeless art, we will always keep it classy.
Do I need experience?
No, you certainly don't have to be an accomplished model, even if this were your first photo shoot ever, that's no problem. In fact, I'm sure it will be an experience you will never forget! I will guide you throughout the entire shoot and all you have to worry about is simply being present. Okay and during some poses you will have to put your muscles to work. Trust me you will feel this the next day ;)
Will my photos remain private?
Yes! When you look for a boudoir photographer, it is very important to read the small print in the general terms and conditions. You would be surprised how many photographers state that they can use the photos for marketing purposes at any time, unless the customer has objected beforehand. If you do that, you often have to pay more. Absurd if you ask me! Especially when it comes to boudoir photos. With me you always have full control over your images. Of course, I would love to share my favorite images to show other women what is possible and to inspire them to book their session just like you did. However I also respect it if you want to keep your photos private. When delivering the photos, you let me know whether and how I may use the photos. You are in full control here!
Do you edit the photos?
Yes and no. All my photos are edited with the utmost care. Post-processing largely determines the vibe of the image. This means that I optimize the lighting and colors of every photo. Of course I also make sure that the photo is nice and straight, or sometimes deliberately tilted. That's it. My whole goal is to show you how beautiful you are, just the way you are. So if I were to edit the photo further, I would completely miss the point. So I don't make you slimmer (or fatter), I don't remove any imperfections and I certainly won't adjust any contours. If that's what you're looking for, then I'm just not the right photographer for you.
Where can I do a boudoir shoot?
Well where not?! You can do an boudoir shoot almost anywhere. Okay, except in places where you are not allowed to go at all ;) You can think of a shoot at your home, in an old industrial factory, but I prefer outside in nature. At a lake, in a forest, on the beach, on the heath or perhaps even in the mountains. Almost anything is possible and I would love to travel with you. Have you planned a holiday to Madeira, Scotland, Iceland, the Alps, the Dolomites, Scandinavia or Italy, for example? How cool would it be to have boudoir images made there? No one knows you there, no one speaks your language and on holiday we are often all a bit freer and daring ;) Please feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities.
What if someone walks by?
You got up before dawn, there you are in your lingerie, in the middle of nature, you have gathered all the courage to lower your clothes and suddenly the thought flashes through your mind: 'What if someone passes by? '. Logically! Really, everyone who is going to do a boudoir shoot gets freaked out about the idea that someone can walk by. I completely understand, that is the advantage that I regularly do boudoir shoots myself ;) Want to know how we go about it? At the beginning you are probably like, "hey, give me that bathrobe", but the further into your shoot you get, the less weird you'll find it. Maybe you say something like: 'well at least they will have a great story to tell when they get home'. I'll leave it up to you.
Will my hair and makeup be done?
No, and that's for a reason. I want to show you how incredibly beautiful and powerful you are now, exactly as you are. Anyone can feel fantastic with the 'perfect' hair and makeup, but I want you to feel fantastic just the way you are. So please just show up as you are. With your daily make-up or maybe even without make-up. Moreover, it is much easier, because we often shoot around sunrise or sunset, in nature and then it is not always easy to find a make-up artist. Do you really want to have your hair and make-up done? Then of course you can always do that, after all it is your boudoir experience.
Shouldn't I lose 5kg first?
It just depends on what you want! If you would like to lose 5kg first and then give yourself a boudoir shoot as a gift for persevering, sure go for it! If you want to wait because you think you will feel more confident than you do now, then my advice is: book your shoot now! Losing weight does not equal gaining more self-confidence. Believe me, I lost no less than 20 kg and became more insecure than ever before. And yes, even with your current size you can expect beautiful boudoir photos. I have portrayed several women so I know exactly which poses will work for you and which will not.
Do I have to pose naked?
If there's one thing that can make most women very uncomfortable, it's the idea of literally having to expose themselves completely. That's not necessary! You don't have to feel uncomfortable about it and you don't have to do it. Nudity is more than welcome during your shoot, but it is certainly not mandatory. You can always decide in the moment and I will ensure that you respect your own boundaries.
How long does a boudoir shoot take?
If there is a form of photography that is not limited by time, it is boudoir photography. It just depends on when we are going to photograph, how the light falls, how you feel, what you want to create and how many outfits you want to have captured. On average, a boudoir photo shoot lasts somewhere between 90 and 180 minutes.
How can I book a boudoir shoot?
When you are completely enthusiastic, or even when you are still a little unsure. Then I would like to invite you for a personal introductory meeting. We can get to know each other better and then you will know for sure whether this is completely right for you at the moment!
